- Cotton farmer - The 1900 census taken 6-27-1900 reported that 3 children had been born with 2 living but there is no known family information about the name of this third child that had deceased at that time; the child, Clyda, deceased later on 11-19-1904 at age 7. - The 1900 US Census reports that Richard was born in Alabama.
