American Society for Engineering Education University of Texas at Austin, Student Chapter Established 1997

ASEE, the American Society for Engineering Education, is a national organization whose purpose is to advance education in engineering and engineering technology. ASEE provides a public forum to highlight excellence in instruction, pedagogical research, instructional practice and public service.  The organization exercises worldwide leadership; fostering the technological education of society; and providing quality products and services to its members. The ASEE publishes one of the few peer-reviewed journals for scholarly research in educational practices specific to engineering, the JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING EDUCATION, and sponsors annual conferences.
