Anime Club Showing: July 31, 1998

The Anime Club at UT Austin continues its summer showings on July 31, 1998 at 7 pm in Welch 1.316. The showing is free and open to the public.

Please keep in mind that showing schedules are tentative, and are always subject to some changes. Programs are not necessarily listed here in the order they will be shown.

Unless otherwise noted, all scheduled programs are subtitled in English.

There will be no library break during the summer showings.

On the program are:

Neon Genesis Evangelion #20 and #21: Starring Shinji Ikari, winner of the "Most Neurotic Anime Character" award, two years running.
Bakuretsu Hunter #21 through #23: More bouncy, lighthearded fantasy with a hard edge hidden underneath.
Break
Rurouni Kenshin TV episode: Kenshin continues.
Tenchi Muyou OVAs #8 through #11: Zero, Dr. Clay, and the universe's cutest spaceship.

All members of the university and local community are welcome to attend this presentation of the latest and greatest in Japanese animation. The showing will run until roughly midnight, so please come when you can. We look forward to having you there!
