A free showing of Japanese animation!

The UT Austin Anime Club will be presenting its tenth screening for the spring semester on Friday, April 4th. The showing is free to all with an interest in great animation and stories.

Special April Fool's Showing!

What does this mean, you may ask? Well, like our other semesterly special showing, the All-Digital one, this is a special evening. Instead of the running series we've been showing, we take a break and show nothing but purely silly, goofy, hilarious anime. Due to some uncertainty about tape availability, parts of the schedule are tentative.

Please keep in mind that showing schedules are always tentative, and that programs are not necessarily listed here in the order they'll be shown.

On the program are:

Most listings are linked to the show's entry in the Anime Web Guide, or some other relevant web page; short-short summaries written by Rebecca Sims. Shows with a '*' by the title are being shown regularly this semester, or are at least continuing for a few more viewings. All shows for this viewing are subtitled in English, except for Goldfish Warning, which may be unsubbed.

So if you're interested in seeing some great animation with some truly diverse stories, check out the Anime Club free showing, open to all on Friday, April 4th, from 7pm to midnight, in Engineering Teaching Center room ETC 2.108. For those not familiar with UT, the ETC building is located near 26th and Speedway; the main entrance is right on the north side of the 26th street bridge.

Please feel free to email this account with any questions.
