All club showings are free and open to the public. Viewings are held in Welch 1.316 at 7:00 PM on every Friday during active academic sessions (excluding holidays and exam weeks, or unless otherwise noted on the showings and schedules pages). Other club business, including new member signups and all library business, takes place in WEL 2.308, just upstairs from the main viewing room.
Welch Hall is located on the southwest corner of Speedway and 24th. You can view maps of the UT campus area online.
Schedules for the current semester can be found on the Showings and Schedules page, and are posted to the club's email list each week by one of the officers.

The club's library of video and audio tapes is available during the Fall and Spring sessions, and is usually accessible during the break period of each showing. Times may vary, but the break usually falls between around 8:30 and 9:15. If the library will be unavailable (due to inclement weather, or a scheduled non-library week such as at the end of the semester), we will make an effort to post a reminder to the main page beforehand. More information on the library itself (including the complete library policy and a current inventory list) can be found on the library page.
In order to utilize the club library, you must be a club member (including paying current dues), and you must have one or more tape deposits on record. Deposits may be carried over from semester to semester, but registration fees must be renewed each school year (beginning in the fall). The current fees are:
  • Fall and Spring Semester, new member: $20
  • Spring Semester (only), new member: $15
  • Fall and Spring Semester, returning member: $15
  • Spring Semester (only), returning member: $10
  • Videotape/Video CD deposit (limit four): $5 per volume
Membership signups take place during the library break, in the same room as the library checkouts. Students signing up must present a photo ID and a current UT registration fee receipt. UT staff and faculty must provide a photo ID and their most recent UT pay receipt. University regulations prohibit us from allowing non-UT-affiliated individuals to become members, although the showings are still open to the general public. Members leaving the University can reclaim their deposit(s), provided that they do so within one year of the expiration of their membership.

The Anime Club also maintains an electronic mailing list. This mailing list is typically low-traffic (between one and a dozen or so messages per week), although it has been known to become quite busy at times. If you would like to join the list, please send an email to listproc@lists.cc.utexas.edu. Your message should have no subject, and the body should contain only the following two lines:
subscribe ut-anime Your Name Here
--
Of course, you should replace "Your Name Here" with your real name. As you may suspect, you unsubscribe by following the same steps, except you use "unsubscribe" instead of "subscribe" in the message body (and you don't need to include your full name). If you have problems (i.e., this does not work for you, or you receive an error message that makes no sense), you can contact the email list administrator at ut-anime-request@lists.cc.utexas.edu. Once you have successfully signed on to the list, you will receive an introductory message containing a copy of these instructions, as well as instructions on how to post to the list. If you do not receive this message within a reasonable period of time (usually minutes, but give it up to half a day just to be safe), contact the list adminstrator for assitance.
