About the VAV Peers

The Voices Against Violence Peer Education Group (VAV Peers) is a part of the Voices Against Violence Project at the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center.

VAV Peers is a student organization whose goal is to increase awareness and reduce the risk of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking on the UT campus.

VAV Peers provides educational outreach, resource referrals, and volunteer opportunities for students wanting to end interpersonal violence. Call 471-3515 and ask for VAV if you want to participate.

Independently and in collaboration with other student organizations, we host and co-sponsor events, speakers, rallies, movie nights, exhibits on campus, and anything related to these issues that will raise the education level of the UT community.

For a list of VAV Peer Theatre Performances, see the Calendar.
