Student Lectures
Graduate students enrolled in GRG 390S will be required to prepare
and deliver a lecture on one of five topics toward the end of the
semester. The topics they may choose from are: "Soils and Fertility,"
"Crops and Yields," "Yields and Water," "Pests and Pathogens," and
"Salinization" (see Schedule).
The topic chosen should pertain in some way to the student's current
thesis or dissertation research.
Undergraduate students enrolled in GRG 339S will be treated to
lectures by geography graduate students currently conducting research
on agricultural, and agriculturally related topics as part of their
graduate programs. These lectures will be delivered toward the
end of the semester (see Schedule).
