Student Lectures

Graduate students enrolled in GRG 390S will be required to prepare and deliver a lecture on one of five topics toward the end of the semester. The topics they may choose from are: "Soils and Fertility," "Crops and Yields," "Yields and Water," "Pests and Pathogens," and "Salinization" (see Schedule).  The topic chosen should pertain in some way to the student's current thesis or dissertation research.

Undergraduate students enrolled in GRG 339S will be treated to lectures by geography graduate students currently conducting research on agricultural, and agriculturally related topics as part of their graduate programs.  These lectures will be delivered toward the end of the semester (see Schedule).
