Current Research (in no particular order)

• Microfabric analysis of deformed rocks.
• Use of scanned cathodoluminesence in fracture and fabric analysis.
• Granite emplacement mechanisms and internal deformation in plutons.
• Recognizing minor (or not so minor) amounts of deformation in granite.
• The Town Mountain Granite suite of the Llano Uplift of central Texas
• Deformation during low pressure metamorphism in the Llano Uplift.
• Determining protoliths of metamorphic rocks.
