Marketing

After creating the mulitmedia product decisions must be made about marketing the product. Areas like advertising, profitability, client acceptance, and packaging are factors that must be considered when determining the marketability of a multimedia product.

  • Advertising
Is there data that supports the need for this course? Are appropriate target audiences identified? What strategy will be used to position the product in the market?
  • Profitability
What is the potential market size? What are the production costs, and how will they affect pricing and profitibility? What are the revision and maintenance timelines?
  • Client Acceptance
What level of instructor training will be required to use the product and how will this affect the sales. Is there a requirement for specialized equipment? How will warranty conditions affect client acceptance of the product?
  • Packaging
What are the Packaging expenses and how will they affect profitibility? What are the distribution options?
