Anime Club
About the Anime Club
The Anime Club is a volunteer-based, non-profit student organization at the University of Texas at Austin. Our purpose is to provide fans of Japanese animation, or anime, a place to meet and exchange views and information.
We hold regular showings (open to the public) of selected anime series, many of which are not commercially available in the United States. (Unless otherwise noted, all of the titles that we show are in Japanese with English subtitles.)
Information on our showings for the current semester, including time and place, can be found on the showings and schedules page. Additional information can also be found on the “joining the club” information page.

Additional resources
In addition to the public anime showings, members of the Club also have access to a large lending library of DVDs that may be checked out for home viewing. Visit the library page for more details (including the latest library list and check-out policies). Note that while showings are open to the public, only registered members may borrow from the lending library.
The Anime Club also hosts a public mailing list. The latest schedules and news updates are regularly sent to this list; it also serves as a general discussion list for anime-related topics. You do not need to be a member to join the list. For more information, please see the mailing list information page.
